Depart school for a day trip to Belfast. Belfast, the largest city in Northern Ireland, was transformed by the Industrial Revolution and its grand public buildings give it a vigorous, 19th century feel. A major attraction of Belfast is W5, an amazing interactive discovery centre based at Odyssey.

It contains over 140 kinds of exhibits which are both educational and fun. Both pupils and teachers are encouraged to experience this innovative approach to learning.

In addition to the exhibits W5 offer workshops, live science demonstrations and a wide range of special events. Return to school late afternoon.
